Purpose

Connects your browser to a server session containing a security token used to validate form submissions and a temporary submission confirmation.

When it is set

When you open the contact page. Other pages do not start a form session.

Duration

A browser-session cookie with no persistent expiry date. It normally ends when the browser session closes, although browser session-restore features may preserve it. Form security tokens expire after 30 minutes.

Protection

HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax. The Secure attribute is set when the server detects HTTPS.

Other browser storage

The website does not use local storage, session storage, tracking pixels, third-party embeds or external analytics scripts. Your browser may cache public page resources, such as photographs and stylesheets; the contact page is marked no-store.

Server-side protection

The form also uses server-side request counts and keyed IP-address hashes to limit repeated submissions. These are not browser cookies. For details about security records and cleanup, see our Privacy Policy.

Your browser controls
